Baghdad: A man was killed by his son in Al-Shajariya area of Al-Mahawil District, north of Hillah, on Sunday evening due to family disputes. Babylon Police Media Director Major General Adel Al-Husseini confirmed the incident, stating that a young man shot his father with a light weapon and killed him in their home.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the incident was sparked by ongoing family disputes. The police acted promptly, arresting the suspect and transferring the body to the forensic medicine department for further examination.
