Erdogan-Trump Meeting Aims to End Regional Conflicts


Washington: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that his upcoming meeting with US President Donald Trump will contribute to ending wars and conflicts in the region, aligned with their shared vision for international peace. The meeting is set to take place in Washington next Thursday.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan expressed his intentions on the Turkish platform “In Social,” stating that the discussion with his counterpart, President Trump, at the White House will cover a range of topics, including trade, investment, and defense industries. Erdogan emphasized the importance of these discussions with the United States, a nation with which Turkey maintains comprehensive strategic relations.



Erdogan further expressed his confidence that the meeting will play a significant role in resolving regional conflicts and will enhance cooperation between Turkey and the United States. Trump’s administration announced on Friday that the White House will host Erdogan next Thursday.
