Trump Invites Leaders of Six Nations to Discuss Gaza Conflict

New york: Western media reported on Sunday evening that US President Donald Trump has extended invitations to the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey for a meeting focused on the ongoing conflict in Gaza. The meeting is set to take place on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Tuesday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting is scheduled a few days prior to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s visit to the White House for discussions with President Trump. This diplomatic engagement takes place against the backdrop of the continuing military actions in Gaza. On the 716th day of the conflict, the Israeli army has persisted in its bombing of residential areas and camps for displaced persons. Hospital sources in Gaza have confirmed 41 Palestinian fatalities since dawn on Sunday, with 26 occurring in Gaza City alone.

In recent weeks, the Israeli military’s Southern Command has intensified operations in Gaza City. They have been employing various methods to alert residents in combat zones, including audio messages, leaflets, text messages, and phone calls. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to minimize civilian casualties amidst the ongoing hostilities.
