Kirkuk: Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari met today with a group of sheikhs and notables of Kirkuk’s various ethnicities, sects, and religions. In his speech, the Minister praised the solidarity of the tribes of this noble governorate, stressing that this solidarity was one of the main reasons that enabled the governorate to witness remarkable security stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Shammari added that Kirkuk Governorate has made great sacrifices, and the testimony to these sacrifices is the blood of its sons, noting that this governorate deserves attention and generosity to serve its people and citizens.

The meeting included interventions by sheikhs and notables, who affirmed their full support for the work of the governorate’s security services in enforcing the law and maintaining security.
