Kirkuk: Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari confirmed that Kirkuk Governorate is witnessing clear security stability, reflected in the decline in criminal activity and terrorist incidents. He explained, during a press conference with the governor and the council chairman, that duties are being carried out well and with a high level of precision, and that there is good cooperation and coordination between the local government and the provincial police command.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Shammari emphasized that during his visit, discussions were held regarding the security situation in a meeting with the Kirkuk government, which has a vested interest in maintaining security. The minister highlighted the clear and effective cooperation and coordination between the local government and security forces of all kinds, underscoring the commitment to ensuring the safety and stability of the region.
