New york: President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, participated in the United Nations celebration of its 80th anniversary. A presidential statement highlighted that the President’s presence at the event underscores Iraq’s commitment to international peace, security, and the promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the celebration was also attended by key Iraqi officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government Qubad Talabani, National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji, Chairman of the Board of Advisors and Experts in the Presidency of the Republic Ali al-Shukri, and Advisor to the Prime Minister Khalid al-Yaqoubi.
