Basra: A gang that spread terror among citizens in Al-Zubair, Basra, was arrested by the local police.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Basra Police Command revealed in a statement that detachments from the Al-Zubair Anti-Crime Division apprehended three suspects. The individuals arrested include the driver, the shooter, and the photographer, all of whom were allegedly responsible for forming a gang that opened fire on citizens. Their actions were aimed at spreading chaos and destabilizing security in the area.

The Police Command emphasized that such negative actions will not go unpunished. It stressed the law’s reach, indicating that anyone who supports or encourages such criminal activities, including filming and disseminating clips that promote this behavior, will face consequences. The ongoing investigation aims to bring the accused to justice, while security forces continue to pursue anyone attempting to disrupt the security and stability of the governorate.
