Basra: Technical and engineering staff at the Iraqi Drilling Company completed drilling and rehabilitating four oil wells in Basra Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company stated in a statement that its staff successfully drilled an oil well in the Artawi field using the IDC 42 drilling rig. Additionally, the rehabilitation of three oil wells in the Zubair field was completed using the IDC 48, IDC 31, and IDC 40 rigs.

The company’s General Manager, Engineer Hassan Mohammed Hassan, confirmed, according to the statement, that these achievements reflect the competence of the national staff and emphasize the company’s commitment to implementing the Ministry of Oil’s plans. These efforts aim to increase production capacity and enhance the company’s role in supporting the national economy and developing the extraction sector.
