Riyadh: The Saudi Royal Court announced the death of the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Sheikh. He served as the Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars and the Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Iftaa.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Sheikh held significant religious positions in Saudi Arabia, contributing to religious and scholarly guidance in the Kingdom. His passing marks the end of an era for the religious leadership in Saudi Arabia.
