President of Diyala University Explores Academic Cooperation with Moscow State Institute of International Relations


Baghdad: The President of Diyala University, Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, discussed prospects for scientific and academic cooperation with the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) on the sidelines of his participation in the First World Peoples’ Summit held in Moscow.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Mubarak described MGIMO as one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the fields of law, international relations, and diplomacy, noting that such cooperation opens broad opportunities for Iraqi students and researchers to benefit from advanced global expertise.



He emphasized that Diyala University is committed to expanding its academic openness to reputable international institutions, in a way that enhances the capacities of its students and faculty members, particularly in strategically significant disciplines such as law and international relations.



Mubarak added that the university is taking serious steps to build bridges of international cooperation that would positively reflect on its academic reputation and global rankings. He further stressed that cooperation with MGIMO constitutes a valuable addition to Iraqi universities in their pursuit of improving the quality of education and scientific research.
