Doha: The Iraqi national U-17 football team achieved a victory over its Bahraini counterpart, winning 2-0 in the Gulf U-17 Championship hosted by the Qatari capital, Doha.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Zain Al-Abidin Yasser scored both goals in the 14th and 60th minutes, leading his team to success. This match marked an important win for the Iraqi team in the tournament.
With this result, the U-17 team now has four points, following a 1-1 draw in its first match against the Kuwaiti team. The team’s performance has placed them in a competitive position in the championship.
