Jerusalem: Israeli drones launched 13 attacks on 10 ships of the Global Steadfastness Flotilla, which aims to break the siege on the Gaza Strip, at dawn on Wednesday. The committee overseeing the Global Steadfastness Flotilla confirmed on its social media platforms that "13 explosions and widespread disruption of communications were monitored on board the flotilla's boats," adding that unidentified objects were dropped on 10 boats, causing damage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the committee stated that "Israel is waging a disinformation campaign to justify a potential military attack," considering that "any attack on the humanitarian flotilla is a war crime and a violation of international law." In a subsequent statement, the flotilla confirmed that it was 715 nautical miles from the Gaza coast, and that the Greek fleet would soon join it.

Earlier, Spain, along with 16 other countries, issued a statement expressing concern for the safety of the flotilla members and calling for refraining from any illegal or violent actions against them. The Israeli Foreign Ministry announced that it would not allow the ships of the "Global Resilience Flotilla" to reach the shores of the Gaza Strip, stressing that "any attempt to approach the Gaza coast will be considered illegal." The ministry called on the flotilla organizers to "direct their ships toward the port of Ashkelon, where the humanitarian cargo will be unloaded before being brought into the Strip."
