Baghdad: Detachments from the Military Intelligence Directorate arrested a number of individuals wanted for various legal cases in Baghdad, Anbar, and Maysan on Monday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate stated in a statement that: "According to accurate information from the intelligence departments of the 7th, 17th, and 22nd Divisions, and in cooperation and coordination with intelligence and forces from the brigades of these commands, and through the setting up of well-planned ambushes in various areas of the same governorates, a number of suspects were arrested on various legal charges and handed over to the relevant authorities in accordance with established procedures."
