Baghdad: Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Baghdad this morning, on the occasion of Iraqi National Day.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the solemn ceremony took place at the symbolic site dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of Iraqi soldiers who have lost their lives in service to the nation.
