Trump: We Are Very Close to Achieving Peace in the Middle East

Washington: US President Donald Trump confirmed that the region is close to achieving peace in the Middle East, noting that the most important thing he is looking forward to at the current stage is the return of the Israeli hostages to their homes. In his speech, Trump said, “This is a big day, and we will see how things go, and we have to have the final say on this matter.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump thanked the countries that helped achieve what he described as an important step, most notably Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan, along with “many other countries.” He emphasized that many people fought hard to reach this day and assured that everyone will be treated fairly.

Trump stressed that what has been achieved represents a major step on the path to peace in the region. The involvement of multiple nations signifies a collaborative effort towards establishing a peace framework, with the return of hostages being a significant focus for the US administration at this stage.
