Al-Sudani Commends Iraqi Fighters’ Skills During Anbar Military Exercise

Baghdad: The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, lauded the capabilities and potential of Iraqi fighters during a military mobilization exercise held in Anbar Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief Mohammed Shia al-Sudani attended the "Heroes of Iraq" military exercise, which took place at the division level. The exercise was supported by the Air Force, Army Aviation, and Air Defense, and was attended by several ambassadors and military attach©s from allied and friendly countries represented in Iraq.

The Prime Minister applauded the high level of coordination and capabilities demonstrated by the Iraqi fighters during the exercise. He urged them to continue maintaining their momentum to confront challenges and ensure they remain in a state of constant readiness.

The statement from his media office highlighted the participation of the 9th Armored Division, the 25th Mechanized Division, and a brigade of Special Forces in the exercise. The exercise aimed to enhance performance, improve joint work and coordination between military units, and maintain readiness and combat effectiveness in response to various battlefield conditions, missions, and duties.
