Baghdad: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Relations and Legal Affairs, Ambassador Shorsh Khalid Saeed, hosted a meeting with Anil Bora Inan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Iraq, at the Ministry's headquarters in Baghdad on Sunday.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening the bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey, with discussions on enhancing joint cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Legal and political issues that are of shared concern were also addressed during their conversation.
The Undersecretary emphasized Iraq's commitment to maintaining open lines of communication and coordination with Turkey. This, he noted, is crucial for fostering bilateral relations and engaging in dialogue on regional and international matters.
Ambassador Inan extended his congratulations on the occasion of Iraqi National Day and expressed wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Iraqi government and its people.
Both parties concluded the meeting by commending the constructive cooperation between Iraq and Turkey, underscoring the importance of sustaining the momentum of their relations and seeking advancements across various fields.
