Baghdad: The Military Intelligence Directorate announced the arrest of five terrorist elements in Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate's detachments in the Intelligence and Security Sections of the 6th Infantry Division and the 17th Infantry Division executed several qualitative operations. These operations were conducted in coordination with security agencies operating within the sectors of the same divisions.

The operations led to the capture of two terrorists in the northern part of Baghdad within the 6th Infantry Division sector, and three terrorists in the southern part of Baghdad within the 17th Infantry Division sector. These individuals are sought by the judiciary under the provisions of Article (4/1) of the Terrorism Law in Baghdad Governorate.

The arrests were executed based on precise intelligence information, ensuring that the suspects were handed over to the appropriate authorities in compliance with legal procedures.
