Erbil: The leaders of Al-Nasr Coalition, Haider al-Abadi, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, emphasized the need for sound planning and avoiding new problems during a meeting held in Erbil. The discussion focused on strategic planning for the country’s future.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Abadi’s media office released a statement highlighting that the meeting covered recent developments in Iraq and the region, as well as preparations for the parliamentary elections set for November 11, 2025. The leaders also stressed the importance of resolving ongoing issues between the federal and regional governments to prevent adverse effects on citizens’ lives and stability.

The statement further noted that both leaders underscored the necessity of strategic planning for the forthcoming phase, emphasizing the avoidance of new challenges. They advocated for practical solutions to internal issues to benefit the Iraqi people’s interests and national unity.
