Baghdad: A meeting at the National Security Advisory/Center of Excellence convened today, bringing together representatives from key national institutions such as the Ministry of Interior, the Communications and Media Commission, the Iraqi Media Network, and the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate. The meeting aimed to discuss the significant challenges facing public opinion and the national media message.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Advisory issued a statement highlighting that the meeting focused on reviewing the negative media phenomena that threaten societal peace and encourage efforts to destabilize the political system. The discussions included developing mechanisms for coordinated action among the relevant institutions to unify the national discourse and counteract statements that target the stability of the state.

Participants in the meeting stressed the importance of collaborating with the Supreme Judicial Council to professionally and legally address any systematic campaigns designed to e
rode confidence in constitutional institutions. They also underscored the necessity of bolstering the role of national media in promoting a culture of responsibility and defending national sovereignty.
