Washington: US President Donald Trump stated on Thursday that he will adhere to the previously agreed terms concerning the two-state solution. Trump mentioned to reporters in Washington, “I have no position on the two-state solution, and I will abide by what was agreed upon.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump elaborated on the upcoming stages of the Gaza agreement, noting that it “will witness disarmament.” He explained that there will be a process of disarmament and withdrawal following the release of hostages. Trump expressed optimism, stating, “I think things will go well.”

He further emphasized that the disarmament of Hamas’ weapons is expected to lead to peace in the Middle East. Additionally, Trump announced earlier on Thursday his intention to visit Egypt to participate in the signing ceremony of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
