Nineveh: Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader al-Dakhil and Defense Minister Thabet al-Abbasi have laid the foundation stone for a new security project at Tal Afar Military Airport, located west of Mosul. The project encompasses the construction of a security fence, watchtowers, and a road around the airport.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Governor al-Dakhil emphasized that the project aims to bolster security and develop infrastructure in Tal Afar and its surrounding areas. He highlighted the government’s commitment to improving basic services and ensuring the safety of citizens, stating that this initiative is a significant step toward restoring normalcy in the region.
