Beirut: The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has taken action in response to a significant Israeli airstrike in the Musaylih area, the largest since the war, by instructing an urgent complaint to be submitted to the UN Security Council and Secretary-General Ant³nio Guterres. The attack, which occurred on the Musaylih-Zahrani road in the Sidon district, resulted in civilian casualties and substantial property damage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the airstrike on October 11, 2025, targeted bulldozer and excavator showrooms, leading to deaths, injuries, and the destruction of businesses. Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raji has directed Lebanon's Permanent Representative to the United Nations to ensure that the complaint is disseminated as an official document to all Security Council member states.

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack in a statement, highlighting its violation of UN Resolution 1701 and the agreement to cease hostilities. The Ministry emphasized that such actions impede the Lebanese Army's plan to centralize weapon control under the Lebanese state.

The National News Agency in Lebanon detailed the scale of the attack, noting that it was the most extensive since the end of the 66-day war. It reported that the airstrikes resulted in the death of a Syrian national, severe injuries to civilians, and significant destruction estimated at hundreds of millions of dollars. The agency reported that over 10 raids were launched, causing widespread fires and the destruction of approximately 300 vehicles, including over 100 small bulldozers.
