Sharm el-sheikh: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani held a series of meetings on Monday with several kings, presidents, and heads of government, as well as with the secretaries-general of the United Nations and the Arab League, and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. The meetings took place on the sidelines of his participation in the Sharm El-Sheikh Conference in the Arab Republic of Egypt, focusing on the situation in Gaza.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister engaged with Their Majesties the Kings of Jordan and Bahrain, the presidents of Palestine, Azerbaijan, and Cyprus, the German Chancellor, and the heads of governments of Britain, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Armenia. The discussions centered on bilateral relations and the development of these relationships across various fields, emphasizing the importance of mutual cooperation for the benefit of allied and friendly nations.

The meetings underscored efforts to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza, stressing the importance of sustaining a ceasefire to protect civilians. Al-Sudani called on major powers, along with Arab and international organizations and institutions, to contribute to rebuilding Gaza and ensuring the provision of essential needs for Palestinian civilians.

Prime Minister Al-Sudani also highlighted the necessity of international endeavors to mitigate regional and global tensions and escalations. He advocated for enhanced dialogue and the pursuit of solutions grounded in international law to address global concerns, including the ongoing disputes between Iran and Western nations over nuclear issues and other matters.
