Mosul: A source in the National Security Service in Nineveh Governorate announced that the service has resumed the "We Are Behind You" campaign in the city of Mosul, to raise awareness of the dangers of cyber extortion, especially among students and employees.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the campaign includes direct meetings and awareness workshops in universities, schools, and government institutions, and aims to reduce the increasing incidence of cybercrime. The source explained that these initiatives are critical in combating the rising threat of cyber extortion in the community.

The source further indicated that the anti-drug campaign, which was launched last year, continues and includes security inspections and field awareness, in coordination with health and educational authorities. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to tackle drug-related issues within the city.

He emphasized that these efforts come within a comprehensive plan to protect society from negative phenomena that threaten community security, especially among young people. The campaigns are seen as essential to maintaining safety and security in Mosul.
