Baghdad: Oil prices rose by more than $1 per barrel on Thursday, continuing the gains they started in the previous session. Brent crude futures increased by $1.76, or 2.81 percent, reaching $64.35 by 0041 GMT. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures saw a rise of $1.68, or 2.87 percent, hitting $60.18. According to National Iraqi News Agency, these price increments mark a continuation of a positive trend observed in the previous trading session, reflecting ongoing market dynamics and investor sentiment. Both Brent and WTI crude futures have demonstrated significant upward movements, contributing to the overall momentum in the oil market.
