Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the battle against drug networks to ensure a safe and promising future for the nation’s youth. In his statement, al-Sudani highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to combat the proliferation of drugs.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sudani praised the Ministry of Interior personnel for receiving two prestigious awards at both Arab and international levels. These accolades recognized their exceptional cooperation in operational information fields aimed at dismantling drug smuggling networks. Al-Sudani noted that this recognition underscores the significant progress made by specialized security forces in tackling drug-related issues, a testament to the government’s dedication to addressing both local and international drug networks.
