Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has issued a strong condemnation of the current global order, describing it as a “feast for wolves” where the weak are ignored, and mercy is absent. Erdogan’s remarks were made during his visit to a factory in Ankara that is producing new-generation tanks and armored vehicles.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan emphasized that the world is experiencing a new order that has shifted away from ensuring global peace and security. He urged countries to bolster their economies, reduce reliance on foreign powers, and enhance their capabilities to maintain independence and dignity.

Erdogan criticized international law and institutions, suggesting they are ineffective in preventing atrocities and massacres. He claimed these bodies, with substantial budgets, fail to act and sometimes even shelter “oppressors with blood on their hands.” He highlighted Turkey’s proactive stance in recognizing and addressing rising threats, transforming the nation into a significant global player over the past 23 years.

The Turkish President underscored Turkey’s efforts to leverage its diplomatic, military, political, commercial, and economic strengths to construct a just world. He stated that Turkey has consistently aided allies in difficult times and has developed its own technologies to avoid dependency on other nations.

Erdogan shared that over 3,500 Turkish companies, alongside more than 100,000 qualified employees, contribute directly to global peace and security. He announced the delivery of the first batch of Turkish Altay tanks from the BMC factory in Ankara, with plans for serial production of these tanks and Altog armored vehicles to begin soon. The factory aims to produce eight Altay tanks and ten Altog vehicles monthly, equipped to withstand modern battle conditions.
