Nineveh: Nineveh Police announced today, Tuesday, that they were able to uncover a murder and arrest the perpetrator within just one hour of the incident.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a Nineveh Police source stated that “the body of a man with multiple gunshot wounds was found between the Qadisiyah and Yarmouk complexes, northwest of Mosul. A specialized security team was immediately formed to investigate the incident. After collecting evidence, the perpetrator was identified and arrested near the crime scene.”

He indicated that “the weapon used in the crime, a pistol, was seized, and the perpetrator was referred to the judicial authorities to complete the investigation and take the necessary legal action.”
