Diwaniyah: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani arrived in Diwaniyah Governorate to inaugurate three major integrated water and infrastructure projects, which include water, sewage, transmission lines, and treatment facilities. These projects come at a total cost of 114 billion dinars and aim to significantly enhance the region’s water supply and infrastructure capabilities.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the projects are distributed across three districts with varying capacities. In Al-Shafi’iyah District, the project boasts a capacity of 7,500 cubic meters per day. Meanwhile, both Nafar District and Al-Salahiyah District have projects with a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters per day each. These developments are expected to address the urgent need for improved water infrastructure in the region, contributing to better living conditions for residents.
