Prime Minister Al-Sudani Commits to Advancing Services and Reconstruction in Iraq


Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has reaffirmed his commitment to continue enhancing services and advancing reconstruction efforts in Iraq, emphasizing a strategic approach rooted in vision and planning.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Prime Minister’s media office highlighted al-Sudani’s remarks on the establishment of foundational projects like the al-Diwaniyah refinery project and Shanafiyah power plant. These initiatives, along with infrastructure modernization efforts, have seen investments exceeding two trillion dinars.



The Prime Minister also noted that financial allocations for ministerial projects in the Diwaniyah Governorate have reached a significant total of five trillion and nine hundred billion dinars. He stressed the importance of a dedicated team to swiftly address and resolve conflicts, aiming to circumvent bureaucratic hurdles. Al-Sudani reiterated that the service and reconstruction processes are ongoing and are guided by a comprehensive plan to prioritize and steer the development of the service sector.
