Bel©m: French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Friday his desire to visit Iraq soon.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Environment indicated that Minister of Environment, Helou Al-Askari, met with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the COP30 Climate Summit held in Bel©m, Brazil. During this meeting, the Minister conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani to the French President.
The Minister of Environment affirmed Iraq’s strong desire to strengthen relations between the two countries and to work together for the benefit of both friendly nations. For his part, French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his desire to make a visit to Baghdad soon, which the Minister welcomed, emphasizing that it will constitute an important opportunity to deepen relations and develop cooperation between the two countries.
