Washington: Iraq's oil exports to the United States saw a significant increase last week, as reported by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Sunday. The EIA highlighted a rise of more than 100,000 barrels per day in Iraqi oil exports to the US market. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the EIA's statistics revealed that the average US crude oil imports from nine major countries reached 4.889 million barrels per day. This figure marked a decrease from the previous week's average of 4.708 million barrels per day, showing a reduction of 191,000 barrels per day. The report further detailed that Iraqi oil exports to the US averaged 195,000 barrels per day. This represented an increase of 103,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week's export figure of 92,000 barrels per day. The EIA also noted that Canada supplied the largest share of US oil imports last week, with Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and Colombia following. Additionally, the US continued to import crude oil from Brazil, Nigeria, L ibya, and Venezuela, while no imports were recorded from Ecuador.
