The independent high electoral commission announced the conformity of the manual and electronic counting of votes in the special voting process. the commission's spokesperson: "We have completed the electronic counting and sorting and delivered the results tape to the political parties' representatives. We have now begun the manual counting and sorting."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Ghalai clarified that only four complaints were received from some provincial offices regarding the special voting.
