Diyala: Diyala Police Command announced the arrest of a man accused of killing his wife following a family dispute. A security source told the Iraqi National News Agency (NINA) that after receiving information about a murder in one of Diyala's districts, a specialized team was formed. During the investigation, after collecting forensic evidence, matching the seized items and traces, and analyzing the evidence, the husband was arrested. He confessed to committing the crime against his wife due to disagreements between them.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the source added that the accused was detained in accordance with Article (405) of the Iraqi Penal Code.
