Baghdad: First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen al-Mandalawi, has underscored the importance for national forces to transition from electoral competition to forming partnerships grounded in constructive dialogue and understanding.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from Mandalawi's media office revealed that he hosted a delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) at his guesthouse on Monday evening. The meeting focused on discussing the latest political developments and assessing the state of the nation following the parliamentary elections. Both parties exchanged congratulations on the successful execution of the elections, which were marked by integrity, transparency, and a stable atmosphere.

The statement further noted Mandalawi's emphasis on the critical need to move beyond electoral competition. He advocated for partnerships driven by constructive dialogue, aiming to translate election programs into actionable plans that align with the aspirations of the citizens.
