Dollar’s Exchange Rate Declines in Baghdad and Erbil Markets

Baghdad: The exchange rate of the US dollar experienced a slight decrease in local markets as the stock exchange closed this evening in Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the dollar was trading at 141,250 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars in the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad. Earlier this morning, the rate was slightly higher at 141,300 dinars for the same amount.

The exchange rate in Baghdad's local currency exchange shops remained stable, with the selling price at 142,250 dinars and the buying price at 140,250 dinars per 100 US dollars.

In Erbil, the dollar's exchange rate also declined, with the selling price reaching 140,950 dinars and the buying price at 140,650 dinars per 100 US dollars.
