Sulaymaniyah: The Popular Mobilization Commission announced today the arrest of one of the most prominent drug dealers in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, as part of efforts to enhance security and combat criminal activities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a joint force from Kirkuk Anti-Narcotics Directorate, in coordination with the PMF Investigation and Preventive Security Directorate, carried out the operation following several days of precise intelligence gathering, monitoring the suspect's movements, and tracking his drug trafficking network.

The statement added that the operation led to the suspect's arrest without any clashes and the seizure of 3 kilograms of hashish, which had been cleverly hidden inside a water filter device.

The Commission confirmed its ongoing commitment to conducting proactive field operations to pursue drug dealers and protect the community from drugs and their criminal networks.
