Baghdad: First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen al-Mandalawi, underscored the imperative to expedite constitutional processes following his meeting with the head of the Rights Movement, Hussein Mu'nis. This discussion was framed around the Independent High Electoral Commission's announcement of the final results of the 2025 parliamentary elections, which al-Mandalawi identified as a precursor to a critical constitutional phase demanding active participation from all national forces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Mandalawi highlighted the urgency of addressing key constitutional requirements, particularly the selection of the three presidencies. He emphasized that these decisions should embody the will and aspirations of the people, while also prioritizing the nation's interests by addressing economic and service-related challenges and fostering national unity.

He further articulated that this juncture demands collective efforts to leverage the election outcomes as a foundation for building a robust and effective political phase, rooted in public trust and constitutional adherence.
