Doha: The organizing committee for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025S launched the tournament's official mascot, "JuhaS," ahead of the finals, which will take place from December 1 to 18. The mascot embodies the famous character of Juha from Arab folklore, a literary and folkloric icon in the region known for his humor and witty wisdom, which he used to illustrate the ironies of everyday life. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Juha's stories, passed down through generations, are widely popular in the Arab world, conveying moral and social messages about facing life's challenges with a smile. This beloved folk hero is set to make a comeback, this time as the official mascot of the Arab Cup, which will be an integral part of the celebrations accompanying this year's tournament. The tournament, like its predecessor, will once again unite Arab fans in a unique festival celebrating the region's vibrant culture, energy, and passion for football. Sixteen teams will compete in the tournament for the title. Nine o f the highest-ranked teams according to FIFA qualified automatically, while 14 teams will compete for the remaining seven spots in a series of qualifying matches to be held before the tournament kicks off on November 25 and 26 in Qatar.
