Basra: The Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Dr. Hazem Al-Hafazi, convened a meeting with the Maritime Security Committee to discuss the activation and enhancement of security plans.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting was held at the headquarters of the Iraqi Ports Company and was chaired by Dr. Al-Hafazi. It included participation from committee members and the General Company for Ports' Technical Assistant, Abdul Sada Khalaf. The agenda focused on implementing decisions from the previous meeting, conducting a comprehensive review of current security plans, and proposing new measures to enhance these plans and improve their effectiveness.
During the discussions, Dr. Al-Hafazi highlighted the committee's primary objective of streamlining procedures and strengthening cooperation among various technical and security entities. He expressed gratitude to the committee members for their attendance and ongoing cooperation, urging for increased collaboration moving forward.
Farhan Al-Fartousi, Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, also commented on the committee's work, emphasizing its role in simplifying procedures among relevant departments. He noted that this simplification positively impacts the pace of work and contributes to faster completion of tasks.
