Baghdad: The technical and engineering staff of the Iraqi Drilling Company successfully completed the drilling of the BUCN-219 oil well in the North Bazargan field, located in Maysan Governorate, reaching a depth of 4,104 meters with the use of the IDC 49 drilling rig. This project was undertaken for CNOOC in collaboration with COSL Oilfield Services.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company's Director General, Engineer Hassan Mohammed Hassan, announced in a press release that the completion of this well is one of several projects being carried out by the company in the Maysan fields. These efforts aim to support development plans and boost production efficiency. He emphasized that the work adhered to approved technical standards and safety requirements, conducted in coordination with the field operator.
