Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid emphasized the need to support efforts aimed at forming a government capable of addressing current challenges and effectively meeting the requirements of state administration. A presidential statement indicated that the President received, on Thursday, the Secretary-General of the Babylon Movement, Rayan al-Kaldani, who offered his condolences on the death of his brother, Shamal Jamal Rashid.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, they discussed the latest political developments in the country, reviewed the election results, and discussed the stages of forming the next government. The President stressed the importance of strengthening political stability, maintaining communication and coordination among the various political parties, and supporting efforts to form a government capable of addressing current challenges and effectively meeting the requirements of state administration.

For his part, Rayan al-Kaldani affirmed Babylon's commitment to active participation in the political process and adopting dialogue and mutual understanding to ensure the resolution of various national issues.
