Sulaimaniyah: The President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Bafel Jalal Talabani, condemned the terrorist attack targeting the Kormor gas field, affirming that the response would be unified and strong.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Talabani stated, "The terrorist attack targeting the Kormor gas field is unacceptable, and we condemn it in the strongest terms." He emphasized that the attack aimed to harm the lives of citizens in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, as well as to destabilize the country.

He further noted, "Our response to this attack will be unified and strong, and we will take all necessary measures to protect the lives of our citizens." Talabani stressed that weapons should only be in the hands of the state, and those operating outside the law must be eliminated.
