Baghdad: The Ministry of Migration and Displacement engaged in a significant discussion with the International Coalition Forces' Special Team about the recent developments in transferring displaced persons from the Al-Hol camp to the Al-Amal Center. This meeting took place at the Ministry's headquarters in central Baghdad and included key figures such as Ali Abbas Jahakir, the Director General of the Branches Affairs Department, and representatives from the Coalition Forces, Colonel Thomas Blumberg and Lieutenant Colonel Falk Oberdorf.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry released a statement detailing the meeting's agenda, which focused on the conditions of Iraqi families currently residing in the Al-Hol camp in Syria. The discussion highlighted the challenges these families face and explored procedures to facilitate their transfer to the Al-Amal Center for Psychological and Social Rehabilitation located in Nineveh Governorate. The conversation also emphasized the humanitarian conditions and the need for ongoing coordination to ensure the successful return of these families.

The International Coalition Forces' Special Team expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Migration and Displacement's efforts in managing the humanitarian aspects of this situation. They noted the substantial progress made in receiving and repatriating Iraqi families back to their homeland.
