Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid emphasized the importance of unifying positions and coordinating efforts to reach understandings that pave the way for completing the constitutional process. A presidential statement indicated that the President received, today, Thursday, the Head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna al-Samarrai, who offered his condolences on the death of his brother, Shamal Jamal Rashid.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments in the general situation and the dialogues being conducted by political forces to agree on the priorities for the next phase. The President emphasized the importance of unifying positions and coordinating efforts to reach understandings that pave the way for completing the constitutional process and support the formation of a government capable of fulfilling the requirements of this phase and meeting the aspirations of the Iraqi people.

For his part, Muthanna al-Samarrai affirmed the Azm Alliance's commitment to supporting efforts to reach consensus among political parties and contributing to the completion of government formation talks according to constitutional timelines.
