Baghdad: A delegation from the political bureau of the Supreme Islamic Council of Iraq visited its counterpart in the Kurdistan Democratic Party, exchanging congratulations on the successful electoral process, which highlighted popular commitment to democratic options and the peaceful transfer of power.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, both parties underscored the need to fulfill constitutional requirements promptly, accelerate the formation of authorities, and strengthen constructive national dialogue. This approach aims to open new avenues for cooperation and joint action in the coming period at both governmental and parliamentary levels. They also emphasized the importance of completing pending legislation, correcting the performance of executive bodies, and addressing popular demands.

The two parties expressed pride in their historical path of joint political action, which has contributed to building a constitutional democratic system.
