Anbar: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced the arrest of a promoter of the banned Ba'ath Party in eastern Anbar. In a coordinated effort, detachments from the General Directorate of Information, working with the intelligence unit of the 27th Special Missions Brigade of the PMF, successfully apprehended the individual after thorough security surveillance and obtaining the necessary judicial approvals. The arrest took place in the Al-Khairat area of Karma district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the individual was wanted for distributing publications that aimed to incite sectarian strife within Anbar province. Following the arrest, the PMF handed the suspect over to the competent security authorities for further legal action.
