Al-Araji Emphasizes the Need for Unified Discourse and Rejection of Extremism and Fanaticism in Syria

Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji emphasized the need for unified discourse and the rejection of extremism and fanaticism in Syria. The National Security Advisory Office stated in a press release that Al-Araji met with Abdullah Nizam, the head of the Council of Scholars of the Followers of Ahlulbayt in Syria. During the meeting, Al-Araji highlighted the necessity of promoting unity in discourse and rejecting any form of extremism and fanaticism.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions also focused on the importance of establishing peace and social cohesion by embodying the principles of brotherhood and adhering to the teachings of the true Islamic faith. Both parties talked about common issues that form the foundation of a virtuous society, free from all forms of extremism and fanaticism.
