Karbala: The Holy Abbasi Shrine launched its sixth annual central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students today, Friday, inside the shrine of Imam Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him). Five thousand students representing 75 public and private universities from various provinces are participating.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Holy Shrine is holding the graduation ceremony for the university students, recognized as the sixth graduating class, "Guided by the Moon," under the slogan "From the Rain of Karbala, Generosity Sprouts." This event is part of the National Youth of al-Kafeel Project.
The ceremony's activities, which were held within the shrine, included reciting the graduation oath and the pledge of loyalty and devotion to serving the nation and humanity. The students also performed the rituals of visiting the shrines of Imam Hussein and his brother Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) and organized a collective procession towards the shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), passing through the area between the two holy shrines.
